FREELY EAT
"Dragon loved to go shopping.
He was a very wise shopper.
He bought food only
From the five basic food groups:
He bought cheese curls from the dairy group.
He bought doughnuts from the bread group.
He bought catsup from the fruits and vegetables group.
He bought pork rinds from the meat group.
And he bought fudge pops from the chocolate group.
Dragon had a balanced diet."

While we can laugh at Dragon’s obviously poor choices, we can probably also sympathize to some extent. We have more access to nutritional information today than at any other point in history and yet our nation is facing an obesity epidemic and numerous health issues that relate to our poor eating habits. One of the problems is the astounding amount of confusion surrounding the nutrition advice that we encounter from books, magazines, talk shows and seminars.
It can seem that almost every new study contradicts what we learned yesterday, last month or last year. One of the recent examples of this relates to coffee. For years it was shouted from the rooftops that coffee could do everything from stunt your growth to give you cancer. Now it's actually being touted by some sources as the new fountain of youth and health elixir. Which is it?
For those who feel they have been able to wade through the sea of conflicting and confusing information, it can still be challenging to actually incorporate those facts into their daily routines in order to affect positive health changes. This confusing process has unfortunately resulted in many who have given up completely and just want to enjoy their food again without being harangued about the calories or carbs or fat or sugar or chemicals.
We are dedicated to providing behaviorally focused, scientifically based, practical and economical nutrition information. That means information that is scientifically sound, that will be easily incorporated into your personal daily routine and will affect positive changes in your health.
Freely Eat. What a concept!! You might be thinking that if you were to truly eat freely, you would gain weight freely as well! But once you truly understand nutrition- NOT what diet food and drink companies and organizations would have you believe, you can come to a place where you eat food that you love until you are satisfied. (No more eating 1 piece of lettuce and a grapefruit for lunch!)
Freely Eat has been helping people learn to eat well, lose weight and become healthier since 2003. The primary nutritionist has double Bachelor of Science undergraduate degrees in Chemistry and General Science and a Master of Science in Nutritional Science.
We are looking forward to the possibility of meeting and working with you. …If Dragon’s shopping list resembles yours, perhaps we should talk sooner rather than later!
